- Please read this information carefully:
- The only payment option is via PayPal.
- I supply the final goods as a zipped folder which contains the .xml template and images folder. I assume that you know how to unzip compressed folders (but I can supply you with just the .xml template if you have trouble unzipping files). I will supply you with step-by-step installation instructions when I send you the template. I test every single template thoroughly before sending it to you and I KNOW they work. If you have trouble installing it, I can install it for you HOWEVER - I am not responsible for transferring your widgets/gadgets.
- If you're interested in one of my designs please email me here (acornglue{at}gmail{dot}com) and let me know which one you want BEFORE you paypal me any money.
- Please see below for any changes to the site design.
What's included? What's not?
- I will change the header image text and description text IF the header and description text are part of the image. If this text is not part of the image then it means that whatever you've titled your blog in the "Dashboard" will appear on the blog.
Please note that at the present time - ALL of my templates have header images which include the blog title/description. This means that THE BLOG TITLE IS PART OF THE IMAGE AND WON'T CHANGE IF YOU SUDDENLY DECIDED TO CHANGE YOUR BLOG TITLE in the dashboard area of Blogger! - I will not make any further changes to the graphics.
- Any further changes to the design are your own responsibility.
- On completion of the design I will email you a zip file including the blogger code (.xml file), instructions and all images. I will leave these images hosted on my photobucket account or you may chose to host them somewhere else (this is your responsibly to change the image paths in the code if you chose to organise your own hosting for the images).
- The design is to be installed by you - installation help is available upon request for no extra fee but this does involve giving me your log-in details.
UPDATED INFORMATION - October 2008
- I make the test blogs with "Blog Title Here" (or similar) within the image. This doesn't mean that the final blog is going to say that in the header - it just means that it's a place holder so you can see where the blog title (your blog title if you buy the template) will go. When you email me and want to buy a template, the first question I will ask is that of your blog title and description.
- The reason why I don't have "plain text" headers is because I think that having the header/description as part of the header image allows me to be more creative with the fonts and effects used. Plain text is boring and it is going to look different on different computers. A header image which contains the blog title/description as part of the image, however, has more options with the kinds of fonts you want to use and you know it's going to look identical, no matter who's looking at it. Of course the only negative to this is the fact that if you change your blog title, it's not going to be reflected in your template. I keep copies of all the graphics so if you ever need a blank header image to edit yourself - I can send it to you.
- Some screen grabs have "acornglue.com" written over the images. Of course this text won't be in the final template, it's just a watermark. I always include a credit to the artist when purchased images are included (in the footer area of the blog) and I expect it to remain there.
- Most of the blogs are 2 columns. In fact, if it's not mentioned then you should assume that the blog template is 2 columns, as I specifically note when a template has 3 columns. Usually these 3 column templates are a few dollars more because they involve more work/time.
Like a template but want some changes made? - If you like a template but want the images/template modified then I *can* do that, but the price will be a little higher. Why? I can offer these pre-made templates for $10-25 because they don't take as much time as making a custom template (which can take weeks).
I charge a little extra when you want changes because it can often take me quite a few more hours of work to make these changes. I don't charge exuberant prices, so please don't be afraid to ask if you like a template but want it modified a bit. Of course "a bit" doesn't mean that I will re-vamp the whole thing. Not sure? Just email me: acornglue@gmail.com
I hope this has answered any questions you may have.
This designs is sold on the above conditions and these are subject to change without notice.
